The Incomparable Rose Hartman premieres in NYC on Nov 13. The doc dives into the life and world of the notorious photographer who documented Carolina Herrera, Andy Warhol, Naomi Campbell and through her lens.

She’s been called rude, crazy, brash, over-the-top and a true artist. Regardless of the reviews on her personality, all that saw her work realized she had an undeniable eye. When photographer Rose Hartman focuses her lens, she captures moments that others simply don’t see. It’s safe to say that some of the moments never intended to be seen. Yet, because of Hartman, millions have peeked into worlds and tableaux that define New York’s social scene and street life. From epic moments at Studio 54 to revealing portraiture, Hartman has documented it all. Her subjects have included Mick and Bianca Jagger, Andy Warhol, Carolina Herrera, Donna Karan, Naomi Campbell, Grace Jones and more. Director Otis Mass has decided to turn the camera on the artist in the documentary The Incomparable Rose Hartman. The doc premieres in New York on Sunday, November 13.
