Alexander McQueen unveils its Fall 2015 campaign featuring models Ruth Bell, Julia van Os and Jamilla Hoogenboom. The campaign was inspired by photographer David Sims whose images of blooming and decaying roses inspired Sarah Burton’s Fall 2015 collection for the label. In this collection, Burton has brought back an air of dark romance. Alexander McQueen has now brought Sims on to shoot the campaign for the collection he inspired.

David Sims has created images of women standing alone in faded quasi-Victorian rooms of pale wallpaper and textured floors. In the images with Ruth Bell, she is seen holding fully blooming roses. One in particular has her standing in the corner of dusty pink room cast in a solitary light as she is about to sniff a rose.

The campaign images are centered by a thick dark red border. The images will continue to be rolled out over the next few weeks through social media and the brand’s website. These images emphasize individuality and a confident femininity that carries over from the collection itself.
