This weekend, legendary coachbuilder Zagato will reveal a limited edition car called the “Mostro powered by Maserati.” With only five of these cars produced, all of which are already sold, the creation celebrates both 100 years of Maserati and a famous racing car predecessor: the 1957 450 S Costin Zagao Coupe raced by Sir Stirling Moss at Le Mans. Zagato has been collaborating with automotive brands since 1919 and their notable list includes Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and Mercedes. Attendees of the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este near Lake Como will get to preview the Zagato Mostro powered by Maserati in person before it goes into limited production for those private buyers.
