Hotel Le Negresco adds New Rooms that blend modern and classic luxury.

Located along the Promenade des Anglais on the Baie des Anges in Nice, France, Le Negresco has built a global reputation and history along the Côte d’Azur. A the palatial Le Negresco, even the details that have details. There’s a Baccarat 16,309-crystal chandelier featured in the Royal Lounge that was commissioned by Czar Nicholas II. There’s Le Chantecler, the property’s two Michelin star restaurant.  Under Madame Jeanne Augier’s ownership and guidance, the hotel got remastered in modern opulence, a stellar art collection, and an incomparable fifth floor for its VVIP (very very important persons) guests. And when the 2016 Nice attack happened, the hotel’s lobby was utilized to triage the wounded. This year, the grand dame has been redecorating as Le Negresco adds new rooms that follow Madame Augier’s concept with even more modernity and unique spaces.

Some of most innovative new arrivals: The Street Art room with wall hangings designed by Pierre Frey and The Médicis decked out in Renaissance style.

Proud of its EPV (living heritage company) certification, this first phase of room renovations is just the precursor of a new challenge; the complete renovation of the left side:  “l’Aile Gauche Rivoli” on the 1st floor of Negresco with 7 rooms.
