Ruffino Wine partners with SKINNEY Medspa to unveil the world’s first Sparkling Rosé Facial

There’s a national day for EVERYTHING. Saturday, June 10, is National Rosé Day and we’re on board with this. We must not be as creative as we thought because our editors were only thinking about drinking. Ruffino Wine and SKINNEY Medspa have put their heads together on a different idea… the world’s first Sparkling Rosé facial.

Ruffino and SKINNEY Medspa Founders and licensed Estheticians, Adriana and Mariso Martino, have created a facial treatment with Ruffino’s Sparkling Rosé that embraces the fragrant notes of strawberry and rose petals alongside the refreshing bubbles and cleansing acidity of Ruffino’s rosé. The creators intend this beauty treatment to leave your skin bright, detoxed and nourished.

SKINNEY Medspa Founder, Marisa Martino commented:

“We love all things sparkles and rosé, so collaborating with Ruffino on this was a no brainer for us. We’ve experimented with all kinds of crazy ingredients to enhance our facials in the past, but adding sparkling rosé wine is certainly a first for us, let alone the world. Whilst some people may be surprised to hear that sparkling rosé wine can be used in the beauty industry, we’ve found that the ingredients that make up this wine in particular have many benefits, including; restoring radiance and suppleness to the skin by targeting dry areas, and infusing the skin with much needed hydration. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to add a extra bit of glitz to their summer skin prep!”

The aspects break down like this:

Fresh notes of strawberry – Rich in vitamin C, the notes of strawberry fight oil skin, as well as nourish and revitalize the skin. The Vitamin C will also boost collagen production and strengthen skin cells and tissue, which enables blemishes and acne scars to heal faster.

Hints of rose petals – Containing antioxidants that fight off free radicals, skin irritants, excess sebum and germs. Organic rose petals are suitable for all skin types and offer amazing skin moisturizing properties for dry and sensitive skin.

Elegant bubbles – The bubbles detoxify the skin with antioxidants to help even out skin tones, acting as a natural toner.

Refreshing acidity – Effective in removing the excess sebum on skin

SKINNEY Medspa High Tech Ruffino Sparkling Rose Facial

Step 1 Skin is cleansed with SKINNEY Medspa Beauty Oil. Oil is applied on dry hands and

massaged into skin to gently remove makeup and oils.

Step 2 Skin is cleansed with SKINNEY Medspa Green Tea Cleanser to remove any remaining makeup, oils or impurities on skin.

Step 3 SKINNEY Medspa Hydrofacial is then used to deeply cleanse the pores, soften and lifts away impurities, remove blackheads and sebum and infuse the skin with a hydrating solution.

Step 4 A pea sized amount of Microderm in a Bottle is mixed with warm water and applied in circular motions for 2 – 3 minutes while steam is placed on dry skin to exfoliate. Bamboo beads gently break down and remove dry, dead skin cells.

Step 5 A moisturizing Casmara Mask is mixed with a teaspoon of Ruffino Sparkling Rose and applied to the skin. Rose restores radiance and suppleness to the skin by targeting dry areas and infusing the skin with hydration.

Step 6 an LED or Light Emitting Diode is applied to the skin to reduce redness and inflammation and to destroy surface bacteria for 15 minutes.

Step 7 A few drops Water Molecule in a Bottle which contains a high amount of hyaluronic acid is applied to pull in and seal moisture into the skin for optimal hydration and repair
