Viktor & Rolf has teamed with Zalando to present RE:CYCLE a sustainable fashion collaboration

Around the world, fashion consumers are wishing to consume fashion differently. They’re also seeking brands that are tackling issues like overproduction, sustainable supply chains, and ethical workplaces. This is an issue that Vanichi has been featuring for some time as many brands are responding to this shift in societal mindset. Viktor & Rolf has graced the runway with several collections that address these issues.

The fashion designers latest collaboration is with Zalando, Europe’s biggest online fashion retailer. The team is presenting RE:CYCLE, a capsule collection centered around handcrafted garments made with recycled materials.

For this collaboration, Viktor & Rolf recycled Zalando’s overstock fabrics to create a 17-piece womenswear collection. RE:CYCLE also has accessible price points ranging from 50 to 250 euros.

This is Zalando’s first collab that focuses on sustainability. By using their own overstock, this capsule collection makes a big statement about style, trends and consumption.
