LOS ANGELES, CA — On Friday, April 24, 2015, Vanichi Magazine will premiere “Breaking the Ice”, a spring-inspired fashion film from photographer/director Nick Lovell. Starring Rachel Olson, the film infuses floral and geometric graphics with elegant women’s fashion. This premiere will kick off an ongoing series called “Fashion Film Friday”, or #fashionfilmfriday and #vanichifff, through which Vanichi will present unique and innovative fashion films that are commissioned by the magazine or curated by the editors.

The colorful looks for “Breaking the Ice” were styled by Lisa Karst and Michelle Hernandez with makeup by Vannia Rodriguez and hair by Bailey Bute.

The 10-second teaser premiered on Vanichi’s Instagram today. The full film will be available via Youtube and Vanichi Magazine.

About Nick Lovell

Nick Lovell is a Los Angeles-based director, producer and photographer who is inspired by bold and graphic elements in visual arts. After graduating from USC’s Cinema-Television production program, he worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment, creating online video content for various film and TV properties. Along the way Nick discovered a passion for still photography and music video. Nick currently works as a producer and director at The Creative Studio, a joint venture between internationally-renowned agency BBH, and Scooter Braun Projects.
