Embera Quera Village, Panama Vanichi April 30, 2015 A Photo Essay by Terrisha Kearse I found myself on a boat traveling to Embera Quera, a small island in Panama where the Embera tribe live in beautifully made huts. Surrounded by jungle and with no modern-day technology, they were the happiest people I had ever encountered. I was so inspired by what I was experiencing I had to capture it. From the village leader down to the kids, their lives were uncomplicated and wondrous. This is simplicity at its rarest and most beautiful form. Accessible only by boat lies the indigenous village of Embera Quera .
